Planning
Before we dive into the details, we kick things off by getting to the most important element of any great wedding: you + your relationship. From there, we build the pillars of your event: a custom planning timeline + a personalized budget. We’ll keep everything on track with monthly meetings, custom vendor matchings, and regular email communication.
Design
Our design process isn't the industry norm – we don't have a fixed style or follow the latest wedding trends. We have something better: you.
HERE’S HOW IT WORKS:
- We get to know you, your relationship, + your likes and dislikes, because who you are as people always comes first.
- You + your partner will come up with a Marriage Mantra, a sentence or phrase that shines a light on your relationship and your values. This is the fun kind of homework that invests back in the wedding planning process AND your relationship.
- We thread it all the way through your event design in a detailed plan that's custom to your vision + vibes.
Our design process is centered around your Marriage Mantra. It’s our secret sauce and our superpower, and clients often tell us that this is not only an investment in their event, but also an investment in their relationship. Who said planning a wedding had to be a drag?

Coordination
At 60 days, it’s go time. Cue your Rebel Coordinator tagging in to make all your Love Party plans come to life. We’ll take care of everything from creating your day-of timeline, styling family heirlooms, + managing every last detail so you get to be a guest + enjoy your party!
Investment
Weddings are typically the first time you’re planning an event of this size managing a budget this big - it can be a lot! So, we try to keep it simple and streamlined when it comes to what we offer.
Our clients’ typical budgets can differ widely (in NYC with 125 guests for example, folks’ minimum is usually $75,000 and can be upwards of $300,000) but the gist is that our clients understand this is an investment they’re willing to spend for a kick-ass experience for themselves and their guests without going too nuts.
Investment for our planning, design + coordination services start at $18,500.

We’re proud to donate 5% of our profits each year to local NYC nonprofit organizations so the party keeps going long after the disco ball turns for the last time on the dance floor.

How long do you typically work with your clients?
12-18 months is our sweet spot. We know that everyone’s timing is different, so we are happy to work with couples on shorter timelines, too.
What if I booked a few vendors already? Can I still work with you?
Of course! People come to us at various stages of the planning process.
Do you work full weekends?
We do, and all over the US + Canada, too! Full weekend celebrations are our speciality.
Do you offer day-of coordination?
Yes! We offer day-of coordination services in NYC + Hudson Valley through our new sister company: Modern Rebel Marketplace.
What does my investment support?
Working with Modern Rebel means you’re directly supporting the livelihoods and families of our diverse team of women + trans folks. We pay living wages, provide healthcare, and offer retirement benefits.
Plus, 5% of your fee goes directly to our non-profit partner of your choice!
Do you work with parents?
Parents rock, but our process is specifically designed to allow you to invest in your relationship, and to do that, we require working with you and your partner exclusively.
Do you work with polyamorous folks?
We do! While the law only allows marriage between two people, our Love Party™ planning services are for partners of all kinds. Whether you're monogamous, open, polyamorous, or in a devoted throuple, we'll make sure your relationship(s) feels truly seen + celebrated.
