At Modern Rebel, we firmly believe the wedding planning process should actually be enjoyable, so by the end of it, your relationship is even better off than when you started. Every wedding is unique because no two partnerships are the same. We dig that. Our goal is for our LOVE PARTY™ planning + design process to create a memorable and fun celebration for everyone we work with, helping them to create a strong foundation for their future together.
We believe in connection and kindness, and we’re committed to creating experiences that reflect these values. Whether you’re looking to bend the rules or break the mold of conventional expectations, or you’re looking to simply plan a beautiful, memorable event that’s true to who you are, we're here to help you every step of the way.
Plus, we donate 5% to local NYC nonprofits through each event so the party keeps going long after the disco ball turns for the last time on the dance floor.

Amy Shack Egan
Shania Twain super fan Sagittarius constantly following up ‘why’ with ‘why not’.
Amy founded Modern Rebel in 2015 in an effort to carve out a space in the wedding industry for couples to rewrite the rules. For the last decade, she has been an event industry trailblazer, coining the term Love Party and making space for wedding planning to be a team sport with her belief that relationships take work and fun.

Cait Godfrey
Nature-loving Virgo with a passion for connection, authenticity, and seeing people light up with their passion.
Cait joined the Modern Rebel team in 2022 and quickly became known for her thoughtful approach and ability to help couples feel seen and celebrated. By 2024, Cait’s passion and dedication led her to a new role as Director of Events, where she’s taken her experience to the next level advocating for couples planning unconventional Love Parties. No matter your vision, Cait is dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences that put you - and your journey - at the heart of every celebration.
Eden Fesehaye
Bronx-born Libra with a strong will + a soft spot for horror films.
As Modern Rebel’s Community + Operations Manager, Eden is often your first point of contact and the behind-the-scenes support helping things run seamlessly. From welcoming couples at the start of their planning journey to keeping day-to-day operations on track, she’s proud to play a part in making the magic happen.
